1. To adjust the volume, press the Volume keys.
   
2. To set the phone to silent, tap the Silent icon.
   
3. To set the phone to vibrate, tap the Vibrate icon.
   
4. When silent mode is on, the Silent icon will be displayed in the Notifications bar.
   
5. When vibrate mode is on, the Vibrate icon will be displayed in the Notifications bar.
   
6. To change the ringtone, from the home screen, tap the Menu icon.
   
7. Tap the Settings icon.
   
8. Tap Sound.
   
9. Tap Ringtone.
   Note: For this demonstration, 'Alert Tone' is selected.
   
10. Tap Sounds.
    
11. Scroll to, then tap the desired ringtone.
    
12. Tap the Back icon.
    
13. Repeat steps 10-12 to set the desired message, and alert tones.
