Set or change password security
Enable or change the password on your device.
INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
- Swipe down from the top of the screen to reveal the Action center.
- Tap ALL SETTINGS.
- Tap lock screen.
Note: To learn more about requesting a device unlock for your AT&T mobile device, visit www.att.com/deviceunlock.
- Scroll to, then tap the Password switch.
- Enter the desired password.
- Tap the Confirm password field, then re-enter the chosen password.
- Tap Done.
- Tap the Require a password after field, then tap the desired option.
- To change the password, tap change password.
- To access the device using a password, from the lock screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
- Enter your password.
