Email settings

Manage email settings such as sync frequency, server settings, signature, deleting an email account, and more.

  1. To access your Email settings directly from the Email app, access the left panel, tap Settings.

  2. Tap Email Settings.

  3. Tap Default Message Text Size to change the default text size for your incoming and outgoing e-mail messages.

  4. Toggle Show Embedded Images to ON to display images in incoming e-mails.

  5. Toggle Automatically Download Attachments on Wi-Fi to ON to automatically download incoming e-mail attachments when your phone is connected to Wi-Fi.

  6. Toggle Include Original Message in Replies to ON to include the original message in your replies.

  7. Tap After delete, go to select whether you automatically go to the next Newer message, Older message, or the Message list after deleting a message.

  8. To adjust the notification settings, tap Email Notification Settings.

  9. Tap Notifications to ON to display previews of incoming messages in the notifications section of the Quick Actions panel when you swivel or swipe down from the top of the screen.

  10. Tap Banners to ON to display a banner at the top of the screen when you receive a new e-mail.

  11. Tap Sound to select a sound to play when you receive a new e-mail, or select none.

  12. Tap Vibrate to ON if you want your phone to vibrate when you receive a new e-mail.
