INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
If you see one of the mobile indicators (4G, 4G LTE, 3G, EDGE, or GPRS), your Fire phone is already connected to a mobile network. Note: AT&T devices support 9 bands of LTE. Your phone will always connect to the fast available network, however, if 4G LTE is not available, it will default to 3G, EDGE, or GPRS when not in range of a 4G LTE network.
Your Fire phone automatically switches to Wi-Fi when you connect to a Wi-Fi network. If you disconnect from a Wi-Fi network, or if you move out of Wi-Fi range, your phone automatically switches to a mobile connection, such as 4G, when enabled. Note: When you're connected to a mobile data network, you can make phone calls or send text messages, access the web, or browse Amazon content in the Amazon Appstore, Kindle store, or MP3 store without being connected to a Wi-Fi network.
