This tutorial walks through how to learn and customize the home screen.
INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
- Swipe left or right to view other home screens.

- Tap an icon to access.
- To scroll, touch your finger to the device, then move it up or down.
- To access the notification menu, from any screen, swipe down from the notification bar.
- The notification screen will be displayed.
- To add an app to the home screen, from the home screen, tap Apps.
- Scroll to, then touch and hold the desired app.
Note: Apps without the check mark icon are saved to your Amazon Cloud Drive account, but not on this device. Tap the icon to download the app to this device.
- Tap Add.
- Tap To Home.
- To relocate an app, from the home screen, swipe up.
- Touch and hold the desired app.
- Drag the app to the desired location, then release.
- To delete an app, from the home screen, touch and hold the desired app.
- Tap Remove.
- Tap From Favorites.
- To adjust the device brightness, from any screen, swipe down from the notification bar.
- Tap Brightness.
- Tap the Auto-Brightness switch to toggle auto-brightness on or off.
- Touch and drag the Brightness slider to adjust brightness.
