Take a screenshot edit a picture or video, use the front and rear camera, and switch between camera and video modes.

From the home screen, select the Camera app.
Note: Alternately, you can access the Camera app from the Lock screen. From the Lock screen, swipe left. When you open Camera from the Lock screen, you can view (and even edit) photos and videos by selecting the thumbnail at the lower-left corner of the screen. To share photos and videos, you will need to unlock the iPhone.
To choose a Camera mode, swipe the screen left or right to choose Time-lapse video, Slo-mo video, Video, Photo, Portrait, Square, or Pano.
To zoom in, move two fingers apart towards the edge of the screen. To zoom out, move two fingers inward towards the center of the screen.
To change the flash setting, from the Camera app select the Flash icon then select the desired option.
To change the camera timer setting, from the Camera app select the Timer icon then select the desired option.
To switch between front and rear facing cameras, select the Switch Camera icon.
To apply a filter to your photo, select the Filter icon, then select the desired filter.
To take a photo, select the Capture icon or press either Volume button.
Note: Live Photos is enabled by default. Live photos record what happens 1.5 seconds before and after you take a picture. To disable Live photos, from the Camera app, select the Live Photos icon. To delete a picture, from the Photos app select the desired photo then select the Delete icon. Select Delete Photo to confirm. To shoot a video, swipe to Video mode then select the Capture icon to start recording.
To take a picture while recording a video, select the Capture icon. To stop recording select the Stop icon.
To access the photos and videos, select the Preview icon.
Note: You can also view taken photos and videos from the home screen, by selecting the Photos app. iOS12 features a new For You tab in the Photos app. Select the For You tab to view content curated For You.
This device has a 8MP rear-facing camera and a 1.2MP FaceTime HD camera. The video recorder shoots up to 1080p at 30fps.
To take a screenshot, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and Home button simultaneously, then release. The screen will flash when the screenshot is captured. Screenshots will be displayed in the Photos app.
