- To view recent notifications, swipe down from any screen to access Notification Center.
- To access notifications settings, from the home screen select the Settings app then scroll to and select Notifications.
- Adjust settings as desired.
- To change the notification setting for an individual app, select the desired app.
- Select the Allow Notifications switch to turn app notifications on or off.
Note: With iOS 12, certain health applications will allow Critical Alerts. Critical Alerts will send a notification even when Do Not Disturb is enabled to alert you to important information regarding your health. From the Notifications screen of a desired app, select the Critical Alerts switch above the Allow Notifications switch. - To enable or disable an app notification sounds, select the Sounds switch.
- Select the Badges switch to enable or disable app badges.
- TURN ON/OFF DO NOT DISTURB: From the Settings screen, scroll to and select Do Not Disturb. Select the Do Not Disturb switch to turn Do Not Disturb on or off.
Note: When Do Not Disturb is enabled, calls and notifications will be silenced. - When Do Not Disturb is enabled, the Do Not Disturb icon will be displayed in the Notification bar.
- TURN ON/OFF GOVERNMENT ALERTS: From the Notifications screen, scroll to GOVERNMENT ALERTS. Turn alerts on or off by selecting the switch next to the desired alert.
- NOTIFICATION GROUPING: From the Notifications screen, select the desired app then scroll to and select Notification Grouping. Select the desired option, then select the Back when finished.
- ENABLE DELIVER QUIETLY: From the Notification Center, select and hold the desired notification then swipe left until Manage appears. Select Manage, then select Deliver Quietly.
Note: Quiet Notifications appear in the Notification center, but do not appear on the lock screen, play a sound, present a banner, or badge the app icon.
