Set or change password security
Enable or change the password on your device.
INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
- From the home screen, tap Settings.
Note: If multiple users have been set up, each user can set their own password.
- Scroll to, then tap Lock screen.
- Tap Screen lock.
Note: If prompted, enter the current password or pattern.
- Tap the desired security type.
Note: For this demonstration, tap 'Pattern'.
- Draw the desired pattern, then tap Continue.
- Re-draw the desired pattern, then tap Confirm.
- Enter the desired backup PIN, then tap Continue.
- Re-enter the desired backup PIN, then tap OK.
- To unlock the device, draw the selected pattern on the lock screen.
