Install and remove the SIM and battery.

Use the Notch in the top of the back of the device to take the back cover off.
Insert the Micro SIM card with the gold contacts facing down and the notched edge going in first.
To expand the storage capacity of the device, you can use an optional memory card. The Memory card slot is located above the SIM card slot. Insert an optional memory card up to 128GB with the gold contacts facing down and the notched edge going in first.
Note: SD cards are sold separately. To prevent data corruption, it is recommended to unmount your memory card before removing it. To unmount your memory card, tap Settings > System > Storage > tap the Eject icon under Portable storage.
Insert the Battery with the gold contacts touching.
Replace the back cover and gently press the edges until they click into place. Press the Power/Lock button to turn on the phone and begin using it.
Note: For protection against water damage, firmly seal the battery cover before use
If the SIM is not in the device, the Missing SIM icon will be displayed in the notification bar.
