Control Center

Use Control Center for quick access to commonly used settings (Airplane mode, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirDrop, and Screen Mirroring), apps (Flashlight, notes, timer, and camera), and more.

Control Center gives you instant access to the Camera, AirDrop, Screen Mirroring, Timer, audio playback controls, and other handy features.

Note: You can adjust the brightness, lock the screen in portrait orientation, turn wireless services on or off, and turn on AirDrop to exchange photos and other items with nearby iOS 8 or later devices that support AirDrop.




Open Control Center

To access the Control Center, swipe down from the upper right corner of any screen.

Access and use connectivity controls

From the Control Center, select and hold the center of the Connectivity section to access additional connectivity controls.

To quickly enable or disable Airplane mode, Wi-Fi, AirDrop, Cellular Data, Bluetooth, and Personal Hotspot, select the desired icon.

Note: Alternately, you can quickly select Airplane mode, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Cellular Data directly from the Control Center.

Use app and feature controls

Control Center also gives you quick access to these features and apps: Screen-Orientation Lock, Screen Projecting, Do Not Disturb mode, Screen Brightness, Silent Mode, Clock/Alarm/Timer, Notes, and Camera. Select the desired option.

Note: To edit what appears on Control Center, from the home screen, select the settings app Settings app > Control Center > Customize Controls > edit Control Center as desired.

Use music controls

Control Center also allows you to access your Music. Select the desired icon to control your music from the Control Center.

Restrict Control Center access

If you don’t want Control Center to be accessible while using apps, from the home screen select the settings app Settings app > Control Center > on switch Access Within Apps switch.

Close Control Center

To close Control Center, swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
