Set or change password security
Enable or change the password on your device.
INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
- From the home screen, tap Menu.
- Swipe to, then tap Settings.
- Scroll to, then tap Security.
- Tap the Phone Lock switch.
- Enter the current password.
Note: The default password is 1234.
- Tap OK.
- To change the password, repeat steps 1-3, then tap Change Password.
- Enter the current password, then tap OK.
- Enter the new password, then tap OK.
- Re-enter the new password, then tap OK.
- From the lock screen, enter the required passcode to unlock the device, then tap OK.
