Set or change password security
Enable or change the password on your device.
INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
- From the Start screen, scroll to, then tap the Settings icon.
- Tap lock screen.
- Tap the Password switch to turn password On.
- Enter the desired password, then tap the Confirm password field.
- Re-enter the password, then tap done.
- When the lock screen password is on, you will be prompted to enter the password before accessing the device.
- To change the password, tap change password.
- Tap the Current password field, then enter the password.
- Tap the New password field, then enter the desired password.
- Tap the Confirm password field, then re-enter the new password.
- Tap done.
- To turn off password, tap the Password switch, then enter the current password.
