Learn how to delete apps from the home screen, uninstall apps from the device, and delete folders.
INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
REMOVE APPS FROM THE HOME SCREEN: To remove an app from the home screen, the Apps drawer must be enabled. With the Apps drawer enabled, select and drag the desired app to Remove at the top of the screen.
Note: To enable the App drawer, swipe down from the Notification bar > select the Settings icon > Display tab > Home screen > Select Home > Home & app drawer.
UNINSTALL AN APP: Swipe down from the Notification bar > select the Settings icon > General tab > Apps & notifications > App info > desired app > Uninstall > select OK to confirm.
Note: Downloaded applications can be re-installed through the Google Play Store. Some pre-loaded applications cannot be uninstalled from the device but can be disabled. To disable a pre-loaded application, swipe down from the Notification bar then select the Settings icon > General tab > Apps & notifications > App info > desired app > Disable. To re-enable a pre-loaded application, from the desired app select Enable. Disabling an app from the home screen does not delete the app from the device. Some applications must remain enabled on the device.
REMOVE A FOLDER: Select the desired folder, then remove apps from the folder until one app remains in the folder. The folder will automatically be delete.
