Charge the Battery

Tips on charging your battery.

Use the Original charger to maintain optimal battery performance over the life of your tablet.
Note: The battery comes partially charged. When new, it takes approximately 70 minutes to charge the device from 0-50% and 188 minutes to charge from 0-100%. You can use the device while charging.
Insert the microUSB end of the microUSB cable into the microUSB port at the bottom of the tablet.
Plug the Charger into a wall outlet. If necessary, connect the USB cable to the charger.
Alternatively, you can insert the USB end of the cable into a computer to charge.
Note: Your device charges quicker using a power outlet than when connected to a laptop or other power source.
When the tablet is charging, the Charging icon will be displayed in the Notification bar.
Note: To display or hide the battery percentage in the Notification bar, swipe down from the top of the screen, select the Settings icon > GENERAL tab > Battery > Percentage on status bar.
When the tablet is fully charged, the Fully charged icon will be displayed in the Notification bar.
This tablet has an internet usage time of up to 10 hours, video playback of up to 12 hours, and audio playback of up to 80 hours.
Note: When the battery is weak and only a few minutes of operation remain, your device conserves its remaining battery power by dimming the screen.
