  2. Swipe down from the Notification bar, then tap the Settings icon.
  3. Scroll to and tap AT&T Software update, then Check for Updates.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update.
  5. The device automatically restarts once the new software successfully installs.

Verify software update

  1. Swipe down from the Notification bar, then tap the Settings icon.
  2. Scroll to and tap About Phone.
  3. The device has the latest software if the Android version and Build number match the current update details.
