- From the device home screen, swipe down from the Notification bar and tap the Settings icon.
- Scroll to and tap Software update.
- Tap Check for updates.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update.
- The device automatically restarts once the new software successfully installs.
Verify software updates
- From the device home screen, swipe down from the Notification bar and tap the Settings icon.
- Scroll to and tap About phone.
- Tap Software information.
- The device has the latest software if the Android and Baseband versions match the current update details.
Troubleshoot software update
- Visit Troubleshoot & Resolve to fix software update issues.
- After installing the software update, visit Troubleshoot & Resolve to fix any additional issues with your device or services.
