  2. Swipe down from the Notification bar, then tap Settings.
  3. Tap General.
  4. Scroll to and tap About phone.
  5. Tap Software update, then Update Now.
  6. Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update. The device automatically restarts once the new software successfully installs.

Verify software update

  1. Swipe down from the Notification bar, then tap Settings.
  2. Tap General.
  3. Scroll to and tap About phone, then Software info.
  4. If the Android and Software versions don't match the current update; perform additional updates until they do.
