  2. Swipe down from the Notification bar.
  3. Tap the Settings icon.
  4. Tap AT&T Software Update.
  5. Tap Check for updates. 
  6. Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update.
  7. The device automatically restarts once the new software successfully installs.

Verify software update

  1. Swipe down from the Notification bar.
  2. Tap the Settings icon.
  3. Tap About phone.
  4. The device has the latest software if the Android version and Build number match the current update details.
