To update the software

1. Make sure your device is sufficiently charged and connected to the AT&T network.
2. From the Home screen, select the Menu button.
3. Select Settings > Software update > Check for updates.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update.
5. The device automatically restarts once the new software successfully installs.

To verify the update

1. From the Home screen, select the Menu button.
2. Select Settings > Phone Information.
3. The device has the latest software if the Software version matches the current update details.
