- Make sure your device is fully charged and connected to the AT&T data network.
- From the Home screen, press the OK key to access the main menu.
- Use the navigation keys to select Settings, then press the OK key.
- Use the navigation keys to select System, then press the OK key.
- Use the navigation keys to select About phone, then press the OK key.
- Use the navigation keys to select AT&T Software Update, then press the OK key.
- Use the navigation keys to select Check for Updates, then press the OK key.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update.
- The device automatically restarts once the new software successfully installs.
To verify the update
- From the Home screen, press the OK key to access the main menu.
- Use the navigation keys to select Settings, then press the OK key.
- Use the navigation keys to select System, then press the OK key.
- Use the navigation keys to select About phone, then press the OK key.
- Scroll down to view the Software version. The device has the latest version if the Software version matches the current update details.
