Private Space

In this tutorial, you will learn how to:

Set up Private Space

1. From the home screen, swipe down from the Notification bar twice then select the Settings icon Settings icon

 

2. Scroll to and select Security & privacy, then scroll to and select Private Space.

3. Select Set up

4. You will be prompted to sign in to your Google account or create a new Google account that is solely for Private Space. Select Got it to sign into or create a different Google account. Select Do it later to continue without changing your Google account. Follow the prompts to continue.

5. You can set up a separate lock code to access Private Space. Review the Choose a new Lock for Private Space? prompt, then select the desired option.

 

Note: If you select Choose new lock, follow the prompts to create a new lock code for Private Space.

6. Select Done.

Access Private Space 

After completing the Private Space set up, Private Space will appear at the bottom of your Apps tray. Scroll to and select Private, then enter the Private Space passcode.

 

Note: To access the Apps tray, swipe up from the center of the home screen. If Private Space is hidden, it will not be displayed in your Apps Tray. From the Apps Tray, select the Search Bar > enter Private Space > select Private Space > enter passcode.

Use Private Space

When Private Space is visible, select the desired option:

INSTALL AN APP: Select Install.

ACCESS SETTINGS: Select the Settings icon.

OPEN AN APP: Select the desired app to open.

LOCK PRIVATE SPACE: Select Lock.

 


 

Hide Private Space

From the Settings screen, scroll to and select Security & privacy > Private Space > select Hide Private Space > select the Hide private space when it's locked switch.

Note: Select Got it to confirm.
