Getting started
- You can download the update via Google Over the Air (GOTA).
- You must connect your device to Wi-Fi® to download the update.
- Although there should be no impacts to settings or data, we recommend that you back up your media files to an SD card, a computer, or using a favorite application, prior to upgrading the software.

Update software
- Make sure your device is fully charged and connected to Wi-Fi.
- From the System Screen, select System update.
- The device will check for updates automatically.
Verify software update
- Press the Watch Crown to access the Apps tray, then scroll to and select the Settings app.
- Scroll to and select System, then scroll to and select About.
- Scroll to and select Versions.
- If the Android and Baseband versions don’t match the current update; perform additional updates until they do.
Troubleshoot software update
- Visit Troubleshoot & Resolve to fix software update issues.
- After installing the software update, visit Troubleshoot & Resolve to fix any additional issues with your device or services.
