Get familiar with call options like mute, hold, speakerphone, speed dial, and creating a conference call.
In this tutorial, you will learn how to:
• Set up Google Meet
• Start a voice call
• Access in-call options
• Use your tablet while on an active call
• Respond to an incoming call
From the home screen, select the Google folder > Meet app.
Note: Upon first access, you will be prompted to choose an account. Select Continue as or Use Meet without an account. You will also be prompted to allow access to your microphone and camera. Select Allow to continue. For more information, please visit Set up Google Meet.
1. Select New.
2. From the contacts list, select the desired contact.
Note: In order to make a call, both users must be signed in to Google Meet. Select Invite to invite a contact to Google Meet. To make a conference call, select Create group > checkbox next to the desired contacts > Done.
3. Select the Voice call icon to begin a voice call.
While on an active call, the following options will be available:
• MUTE/UNMUTE: Select the Mute icon.
• END CALL: Select the End call icon.
Note: To learn about calling or using your device in other countries, visit the AT&T International website. Phone calls on the Samsung Tab S8+ 5G can be displayed in full screen or in pop-up mode. This tutorial displays phone calls in full screen.
While on an active call, select the Home key to access the home screen.
To return to an active call, swipe down from the Notification bar then select the Active call.
When there is an incoming call, swipe up to accept the call or down to decline the call.
