Use Multi Window to complete multiple tasks on one screen, take notes while watching a video, or search the web and check your email messages simultaneously.

Turn on split screen view
1. Select theÂ
Recent apps key.

2. Select the desiredÂ
app icon, then selectÂ
Open in split screen view.

app.
Note: For this tutorial, the Calendar and Messages apps were selected. Â

Open an app completely
The app with the blue line is the active app. Select and drag theÂ
divider in the middle of the screen down to theÂ
bottom or up to theÂ
top of the screen, depending on which app you want to open completely.

Exit split screen view
Select theÂ
Recent apps key, then swipe
up on the desired split view window to close.

Use Picture-in-picture
While using Maps or watching a video in fullscreen, select theÂ
Home key. The app will display as aÂ
Picture-in-picture window in the corner of the screen.
Note: You can select and drag the window as desired. Picture-in-picture is enabled by default on select apps. To view which apps can use Picture-in-picture, swipe down from the Notification bar > select the  Settings icon > scroll to and select Apps > select the   Menu icon > Special access > Picture-in-picture > the apps that can use Picture-in-picture will be displayed.Â

Enter pop-up view
1. Select theÂ
Recent apps key.

2. Select the desired app icon, then select Open in pop-up view.

3. You may select and drag the divider icon on top of the pop-up view to move it to the desired area.
Â
Note: To close a pop-up view, select and drag the divider icon to the bottom of the screen to Remove.
