Use Google Assistant to control your device using voice commands.
In this tutorial, you will learn how to:
• Access and use Google Assistant
• Access Google Assistant settings
• Access Hold for me
1. Select the Microphone icon on the home screen to access Google Assistant.
Note: You can also access Google Assistant by pressing and holding the Power/Lock button.
2. Say the desired search term(s) when "Try saying..." is on screen. To type your question, select the keyboard icon.
After about ten seconds, the initial Google Assistant screen will prompt you with popular actions. From this screen, select the Account icon. Edit settings as desired.
If a business puts you on hold, Google Assistant can wait on the line for you and let you know when someone is ready to talk. Visit Call Features for information on how to enable Hold for me.
