When the keyboard is visible, swipe up from the bottom of the screen then select the Settings icon. Keyboard settings allow you to change languages, keyboard height and layout, and adjust smart typing features.

Note: To access keyboard settings outside of the keyboard screen, swipe up from the bottom of the clock screen to access the Apps tray, then scroll to and select the  Settings app > General > Input > Samsung Keyboard.

Select and drag across each letter of the desired word without removing your finger from the screen. Words will automatically be entered into the text field.

When the keyboard is visible, swipe up from the bottom of the screen then select the Handwriting input icon. You may now write on the screen to input words into the text field.

After typing a word, suggestions will appear at the top of the keyboard. Select the desired suggestion to enter it into the text field.

When the keyboard is visible, swipe up from the bottom of the screen then select the desired option:

• SPEECH-TO-TEXT: Select the Microphone icon.
