Contacts

In this tutorial, you will learn how to:
 

• Access contacts

• Add a contact

• Edit or delete a contact

• Add a ringtone

• Back up your contacts

 

Access contacts

From the home screen, press the right select key to access the Contacts app.

 

Note: Alternately, you can access the Contacts app from the App Menu.

Add a contact

1. From the contacts list, press the down navigational key to access the Contacts list then press the left select key to select New. Press the up or down navigational keys to highlight the desired storage option, then press the OK key to select. 

 

 

2. Use the keypad to enter the desired contact information in the corresponding fields. 

 

 

3. To add a photo, press the down navigational key to highlight Add, then press the OK key to select. Press the OK key to select Add picture, then follow the prompts. 

 

 

4. When finished, press the OK key to select SAVE.

Edit or delete a contact

EDIT CONTACT: 

 

1. Press the up or down navigational key to highlight the desired contact, then press the OK key to select. Press the right select key to select Options. 

 

 

2. Press the down navigational key to highlight Edit, then press the OK key to select. Use the keypad to edit the contact as desired, then press the OK key to select SAVE.

DELETE CONTACT: From the desired contact, press the right select key to select Options. Press the down navigational key to highlight Delete, then press the OK key to select. 

 

Note: Press the right select key to select Delete to confirm.

Add a ringtone

From the edit contact screen, press the down navigational key to highlight Add then press the OK key to select. Press the down navigational key to highlight Add ringtone. Press the OK key to select, then follow the prompts.

Back up your contacts

From the Contacts screen, press the right select key to select Options. Press the down navigational key to highlight Copy contacts. Press the OK key to select, then follow the prompts.
