Notifications & Alerts

In this tutorial, you will learn how to:
 

• Access notification settings
• Turn notifications on or off on a per-app basis
• Adjust notification sounds
• Adjust notification volume
 

Access notification settings

1. From the home screen, press the OK key to access the App Menu. Press the navigational keys to highlight the Settings app, then press the OK key.

2. Press the left or right navigational key to navigate to the Personalization tab. Press the up or down navigational key to scroll to and highlight Notices, then press the OK key.

Turn notifications on or off on a per-app basis

1. From the Notices screen, press the navigational keys to highlight App notices, then press the OK key to view App info.



2. Press the navigational keys and the OK key to highlight and navigate to the desired app > Allow Notices.



3. Press the navigational keys to highlight the desired option, then press the OK key to select SELECT.

Adjust notification sounds

1. From the Personalization tab of the Settings screen, ensure that Sound is highlighted, then press the OK key.



2. Press the navigational keys and then the OK key to highlight and navigate to Tones > Notice alerts.



3. Press the navigational keys to highlight the desired option, then press the OK key to select SELECT.

Adjust notification volume

From the Sound screen, ensure that Volume is highlighted, then press the OK key. Press the up or down navigational key to highlight the Ringtones & alerts volume slider, then press the left or right navigational key to adjust volume as desired.
