1. When turning the device on for the first time, or after a factory reset, you will be walked through a series of prompts to set up your device. Press the up or down navigational key to highlight to the desired language, then press the OK key to select. Press the right select key to select Next. Press the up or down navigational keys to highlight to the desired keyboard language, then press the OK key to select. Press the right select key to select Next.
2. Press the right select key to select Next on the cellular data prompt.
3. If you would like to connect to a Wi-Fi network, press the up or down navigational keys to highlight to the desired network name. Press the OK key to select the desired network, then follow the on-screen prompts. Press the right select key to select Skip to proceed without connecting to Wi-Fi.
4. Review the Location Access prompt, press the right select key to select Allow.
5. Review the Anti-Theft prompt, then press the OK key to select OK.
6. Review the KaiOS License Terms and Privacy, then press the up or down navigational keys to highlight the desired option, then press the OK key to select the desired option. When finished, press the right select key to select Next.
Note: Press the right select key to select Accept again to confirm.
7. Press the OK key to create a KaiOS account and follow the prompts, or press the right select key to continue without a KaiOS Account.
8. Press the up or down navigational keys to highlight the desired background app refresh option, the press the OK key to select. Press the right select key to select Done.Â
9. If an SD card is detected, you will see a Storage prompt to set up the SD card as default storage. Press the right select key to select OK to proceed, or press the left select key to select No to use internal storage.
10. Press the right select key to select Next to view the keypad tutorial. Press the left select key to select Back. At the end of the keypad tutorial, press the OK key to select OK.
