1. From the home screen, select theÂ

Access messaging settings options
Select the desired
option to access the desired
settings.

• TURN ON/OFF ADVANCED MESSAGING: Select Chat features > Enable chat features switch.
• TURN ON/OFF ADVANCED MESSAGING READ RECEIPTS: Select Chat features > Send read receipts switch.
• TURN NOTIFICATIONS ON OR OFF: Select Notifications, then select the Notifications switch.
• ACCESS SMS SETTINGS/VIEW MESSAGE CENTER NUMBER: Select Chat features. The Message Center number will also be displayed on the Chat features settings screen.
• ACCESS MMS SETTINGS: Select Advanced, then select the desired switches.

Enable/disable Emergency Alerts
1. From the Advanced settings screen, select
Wireless emergency alerts.
