Can I upgrade to a new iPhone on Black Friday?

Black Friday is a great time to take advantage of our best deals to upgrade to the new iPhone 16.

You can check your upgrade eligibility with the myAT&T app.

The first step is to download the free myAT&T app onto your phone. You can download the app from the major app stores or text “myATT” to 556699 and receive a download link.¹
On the home screen in the “My Wireless Devices” section, select “Manage device and usage”. From there, you’ll be able to “View upgrade status” and proceed to “Turn in & upgrade”, if you’d like.
Follow the prompts to choose a new device for your upgrade.
Proceed to cart and complete the checkout process to submit your order.

If you want the flexibility to upgrade your smartphone often, you might sign up for AT&T Next Up Anytime when you upgrade. AT&T Next Up Anytime is new. It costs an extra $10 per month and allows you to upgrade early without worrying about the remaining balance of your installment plan. And every year, or once you’ve paid off one-third of your phone’s cost, you will be eligible for our smartphone deals (maximum three upgrades in a 12-month period).
