Worth the upgrade
If you are frequently on video calls at home and have others competing for bandwidth, fiber will remove most of you issues. The fact that upload speed goes thru the roof compared to cable is absolutely worth the money.

AT&T cancelled on me!
I have att fiber at home. I wanted to switch to my business account. They cancelled the setup appointment less than 24 hours before the appointment. They told me to wait for more information. Then they called to say my service is cancelled.

Too good to be true! Don’t switch!
Worst service I have ever had! Goes down, loses signal. Says we have full bandwidth but not true. Xfinity at least went down and was down. AT&T stays up and nobody can do anything. Worst service I have ever had! Regret moving from Xfinity.

If you’re moving to a new area and are not a current AT&T customer, the first step is to see which AT&T Internet plans, including AT&T Fiber, are available at your new address. Once you find the best internet plan for you, you may be able to place your order online. You can check availability at your new address here.
It only takes a few minutes to transfer your current AT&T service or to choose a new Internet plan if your old one isn't available at your new address. To transfer your AT&T Internet service visit att.com/help/moving.
If you have AT&T Internet, including AT&T Fiber, activation fees are typically waived depending on your current service plan. If there is an activation fee, it would be the same as when you had your service installed the first time.
