AT&T International Day Pass®:
Eligibility: Consumer customers need a compatible smartphone, tablet, or laptop (Compatible Device) and an eligible domestic postpaid wireless plan. Business and Government Customers: Business and government customers are not eligible for AT&T International Day Pass (IDP). Visit att.com/idpforbiz for details on AT&T International Day Pass for Business.
Coverage: IDP covers over 210 destinations listed at att.com/globalcountries, and on enabled flights on Select Airlines (Destinations). Destinations may vary and can change without notice. Mexico and Canada: No daily fee applies if your domestic plan includes these countries. Latin America: Customers with AT&T Unlimited Premium® PL, Unlimited Premium® and Unlimited Elite® plans are charged no daily fee in included Latin America countries (see att.com/roamlatam for details). Cellular Networks on Select Airlines: Participating airlines and enabled flights may change without notice. Service is only available over 200 nautical miles from the U.S. and above 20,000 feet with specific device settings. Service can be disrupted by satellite or regulatory issues. Cellular Networks on Select Ships: Cellular networks on Ships (Ships) in international waters (At Sea) are generally available 6 or more nautical miles from land, with a Compatible Device connected to the maritime network. The Ships networks are off when not At Sea. Separate IDP daily fees charged for cellular use on eligible ships found at att.com/IDPcruiseships. Coverage and Ships are subject to change without notice.
Adding to your line: You can add IDP before traveling, or AT&T will automatically add IDP if you haven’t added it and don’t have another international feature on your line, and you use a Compatible Device in a Destination not included in your domestic plan. If 10MB or more of international data roaming is used at pay-per-use rates while At Sea, we will add IDP automatically. Whether in a Destination or At Sea, an SMS will be sent to indicate if IDP was automatically added; you will have the option to opt out of IDP auto provision at that time. Once added, IDP will stay on your line until you remove it at att.com/myatt or by calling 833-669-2516.
Daily fees in Destinations: The first time you use data, make or receive a call, or send a text message in a Destination, you'll automatically be charged a $12 daily fee. If more than one line on your account is charged a daily fee on the same calendar date, one line will be charged $12 and each additional line will be charged a reduced daily fee of $6. The calendar date is determined by your local U.S. time zone, not the Destination visited. The line charged $12 is not necessarily the line used first on that date. Received text messages are rated as domestic and do not trigger a daily fee. The daily fee covers additional data, calls, and text messages for 24 hours from the initial use. Subsequent 24-hour periods of use will charge additional daily fees unless IDP is removed. Charge cap in Destinations: There is a maximum charge of 10 daily fees per line in Destinations only, per monthly bill cycle. After reaching this cap, the line can continue to use IDP in the 210+ Destinations only without additional charges for the remainder of the bill cycle.
Daily fees At Sea: The first time you use data, make or receive a call, or send a text message At Sea, you'll automatically be charged a $20 daily fee. There are no reduced fees for additional lines and no charge caps for daily fees At Sea. All lines will be charged a daily fee for each 24-hour period of usage within a monthly bill cycle. Received text messages are rated as domestic and do not trigger a daily fee. The daily fee covers additional data, calls, and texts for 24 hours from initial use on any Ship. Subsequent 24-hour periods of usage will charge additional daily fees unless you remove IDP. If you use services in both an IDP Destination and At Sea on the same calendar date, you will only be charged the $20 At Sea daily fee.
Data: For Compatible Devices only. Data will be drawn from your domestic plan allowance with the same data and speed restrictions. If your domestic plan includes the Video Management feature, it will apply to your international package or feature. See att.com/VideoFeature for more details. Data overage: If you go over the amount of data in your qualified domestic plan, overage charges or data speed reduction of up to 128Kbps apply in accordance with the terms of your domestic plan. If your data speed is slowed, all your data use, including audio and video streaming, picture and video messaging, and other types of data use will be impacted and may not work. Incidental data usage: Apps on your device use data even when you may not be aware. Such usage may trigger the daily fees. To avoid unintended use of IDP, turn off cellular data roaming and WiFi calling in your device settings. Data At Sea: After using 500MB of data within a 24-hour period while At Sea, data speeds may be reduced to a maximum of 512Kbps on certain ships. The highest available data speed will be restored at the beginning of the next 24-hour period. See att.com/IDPcruiseships for more information.
Talk: For phones only. Includes calls received in Destinations and At Sea, and calls made from Destinations and while At Sea to the U.S. and to other Destinations. If your domestic plan does not include unlimited talk, minutes of use will be drawn from your domestic voice plan allowance and domestic overage charges may apply. Calls to non-IDP destinations: Calls from Destinations to non-IDP destinations will get International Long Distance (ILD) charges. Pay-per-use rates apply unless your domestic plan includes these destinations or you add an ILD package to your device. Rates are subject to change without notice. For details, go to att.com/internationalcalling.
Unlimited Text: For phones only. Applies only to AT&T Short Messaging Service (SMS) and Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) and does not cover other messaging services or applications like iMessage.
AT&T Passport®: For devices with IDP and an active Passport package, IDP charges will apply in Destinations and usage in Destinations will not reduce the Passport data allowance or trigger Passport calling charges. To use Passport in a Destination, you must remove IDP.
Pay-per-use rates: Apply when traveling in destinations or on Ships not included in IDP and/or when you do not have IDP or another international package on your line.
Service restrictions: Not available for wireless home phone services, connected vehicles, connected home devices, modems, routers, hotspots, wearables, or other connected devices. Pay-per-use international rates will apply.
General: Subject to the Customer Service Agreement (att.com/consumerserviceagreement) Availability, quality of coverage, and services while roaming are not guaranteed. Additional restrictions may apply.
