Open Enrollment is a period when you can enroll in AT&amp;T Protect Advantage. This year, Open Enrollment runs from January 30 through March 13. 
Protect Advantage is AT&amp;T&rsquo;s comprehensive protection program for cell phones, tablets, and smartwatches. You have the option to protect a single device with the Protect Advantage plan, or you can choose Protect Advantage Multi-Device to cover all eligible devices on your account.

Please note: You can only enroll in Protect Advantage within 30 days of purchasing your device or during an Open Enrollment period.

If you have an active AT&amp;T postpaid plan, phones and tablets like the iPhone 17 Pro and Apple iPad (A16) 2025 are covered by AT&amp;T Protect Advantage. In general, eligible devices will have the following coverage:&nbsp;

Phones: Includes wireless device, battery, and, if part of the covered loss, standard battery charger, and SIM.

Wireless home phones: Coverage includes the device, power cord, backup battery, phone cable, and SIM card.

Wi-Fi&ndash;Connected laptops: Coverage includes laptop device, standard battery, and battery charger.

Tablets: Coverage covers the tablet device, battery, charger, and SIM card (unless it&#39;s Wi-Fi only).

Watches: Coverage includes device, battery, charger, and SIM. (Only watches with their own wireless number and SIM can be covered.)

AT&amp;T Protect Advantage Multi-Device covers mobile devices that are connected to the AT&amp;T wireless network and non-connected devices such as Wi-Fi&reg; tablets. It also covers laptops that are connected to the AT&amp;T network. Once you select a primary device (a device connected to the AT&amp;T wireless network with a postpaid monthly voice or data plan), you&rsquo;ll be able to add three additional devices which may be either connected or non-connected. These additional three devices can be added at any time after your AT&amp;T Protect Advantage Multi-Device enrollment.

AT&amp;T Protect Advantage is AT&amp;T&rsquo;s protection program for cell phones, tablets, and smartwatches&mdash;provided in partnership with Asurion. It&rsquo;s sometimes referred to as &ldquo;phone insurance,&rdquo;, but it&rsquo;s so much more. You can choose to protect one device with Protect Advantage, or up to four devices with Protect Advantage Multi-Device.

Each Protect Advantage plan includes an unlimited number of claims,1 $0 unlimited screen and back glass repairs,2 same-day replacement and setup,3 unlimited battery replacements,4 quality fixes at 700+ uBreakiFix&reg; by Asurion stores, and AT&amp;T ProTech expert support. Just remember, you can sign up for Protect Advantage only during an open enrollment period (or within 30 days of purchasing your device).

Keep in mind&mdash;if you choose not to enroll in Protect Advantage, you won&rsquo;t have any coverage if your device is accidentally damaged, lost, or stolen.

AT&amp;T Protect Advantage is more than just insurance. It provides protection against lost or stolen devices, accidental damage from handling (ADH) physical (excluding ADH) or liquid damage, and out-of-warranty malfunctions.

There may be deductibles or service fees depending on your device, claim type, and the type of Protect Advantage plan you select. You&rsquo;ll need your device&rsquo;s make or model, mobile number, and ZIP Code to get started.

ProTech support is available to AT&amp;T Protect Advantage plan subscribers and offers access to expert technical support for your covered devices. 
 
Customers can call ProTech support at 888.562.8662 Monday - Friday, 8am - 12am ET; and Saturday - Sunday, 10am - 10pm ET. Or <a href="http://my.asurion.com/" target="_blank">login</a> to their Protect Advantage account.

Protect Advantage is $16, $19, or $25 per month per mobile number enrolled, depending on device tier. Protect Advantage Multi-Device is $50 per month and covers up to four eligible devices. Devices may move to a different tier during your enrollment. Tier changes will be updated online and available at <a href="https://www.phoneclaim.com/att%22%20/t%20%22_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">phoneclaim.com/att</a>.

Screen repair is unlimited and does not count towards your aggregate claim limit. The service also covers more than just cracked screens. It covers other types of damage to screens like flickering, black screen etc. Note: Legacy plans (enrolled prior to 2/24/2022) do not include unlimited screen repair and count towards your claim limit.
