- Take your AP-A device out of the box.
- Attach an antenna to each side of the device.
- Attach one end of the power cable to the power port on the back of the device and plug the other end into a wall outlet.
- Check the cellular signal strength on the front of your device. For the best signal during power or internet outages, you’ll need three or four bars.
- Wait for phone jack indicator 1 to turn solid green and then connect a phone cable between your phone and phone jack 1 on the device. If you have additional lines, wait for jack indicators 2 through 6 to turn on for each corresponding telephone line.
- Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the red WAN port on the back of the device and the other end to a LAN port on your modem, router, or gateway.
Important: If you’re going to use your existing home phone number for your new AP-A service, call 877.377.0016 to complete your number transfer. This can take up to 20 minutes.
